Excorio was plagued by misfortune, everything from falling lights to sabotaged equipment and torn costumes. The most inexplicable occurrence is the dust incident: The cast and crew came in one Wednesday morning to find the entire set and all equipment covered in a thick layer of dust, as if the studio had been untouched for decades. Cleaning shut down production for the rest of the week. Maenad Pictures, a small production company, invested heavily in Excorio and its failure led to the company’s financial demise. This canister held the existing footage of Excorio,
